今天下午，主题为“联侨强商、互动共赢、助推‘一带一路’”的第二届侨商高峰论坛在深圳会展中心隆重举行，为明天开幕的首届华人华侨产业交易会（以下简称“侨交会”）预热。论坛开始前，市委副书记、市长许勤在五洲宾馆长江厅会见了中国侨联副主席乔卫，全国政协经济委员会副主任、全国工商联副主席、香港中国商会主席、侨商智库荣誉院长、侨交会组委会主席陈经纬等演讲嘉宾和英中经贸交流促进会会长陈志明等海外侨领代表。许勤欢迎海外侨领与深圳开展更多的交流，寻找更多的合作机会。
This afternoon, the second Overseas Chinese Business Summit Forum, themed "Connecting Overseas Chinese to Strengthen Business, Interactive Win-Win, Supporting the 'Belt and Road'," was grandly held at the Shenzhen Convention Center, serving as a prelude to the opening of the first Overseas Chinese Industry Trade Fair (hereafter referred to as the "Overseas Chinese Trade Fair") tomorrow. Before the forum commenced, Xu Qin, Deputy Secretary of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, met with distinguished guests at the Changjiang Hall of the Wuzhou Hotel. Guests included Qiao Wei, Vice Chairman of the China Overseas Chinese Federation; Chen Jingwei, Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Trade Fair Organizing Committee, Honorary Dean of the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chairman of the Hong Kong China Chamber of Commerce; as well as Chen Zhiming, Chairman of the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association, and other representatives of overseas Chinese leaders. Xu Qin welcomed the overseas Chinese leaders to engage more with Shenzhen and explore further cooperation opportunities.

Xu Qin expressed heartfelt congratulations on behalf of Secretary Ma Xingrui and the Shenzhen Municipal Committee and government for the hosting of the first "Overseas Chinese Trade Fair" and the second Overseas Chinese Business Summit Forum. He warmly welcomed the attending guests and overseas Chinese representatives from five continents, introducing them to Shenzhen's economic and social development. He thanked the overseas Chinese community for their long-standing concern and support for Shenzhen, noting that the tremendous achievements of Shenzhen's reform and opening-up are inseparable from the contributions of the overseas Chinese community. Xu emphasized that continuing to build Shenzhen’s new open economic pattern will still require the active participation of overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong and Macau.
许勤表示，深圳是一座热爱创新、善于创新的城市，以科技创新为代表的各类创新，极大支撑深圳的经济转型、产业升级。深圳的经济充满活力，深圳希望沿着“一带一路”开拓，形成外向发展新格局，欢迎海外侨领与深圳开展更多的交流，寻找更多的合作机会，深圳支持全球侨界人士到深圳来发展，到深圳来合作。
Xu Qin stated that Shenzhen is a city that loves and excels at innovation, with various types of innovations, especially in science and technology, significantly supporting the city's economic transformation and industrial upgrading. Shenzhen's economy is vibrant and aims to expand further along the "Belt and Road," creating a new outward-looking development pattern. Xu welcomed more exchanges and cooperation with overseas Chinese leaders, supporting global overseas Chinese to come and develop and cooperate in Shenzhen.
乔卫对深圳创新驱动发展表示赞赏，他代表海外侨领对深圳市委、市政府对“侨交会”的高度重视和支持表示感谢。他表示，深圳不仅仅在产业结构调整方面有诸多创新举措，由民间发起的“侨交会”也是深圳的开创之举。他相信“侨交会”的成功举办将助力深圳未来发展，引领华人华侨在“一带一路”建设中与中国和住在国互动共赢。
Qiao Wei appreciated Shenzhen's innovation-driven development and, on behalf of the overseas Chinese leaders, expressed gratitude to the Shenzhen Municipal Committee and government for their high regard and support for the "Overseas Chinese Trade Fair." He noted that Shenzhen is not only innovative in adjusting its industrial structure but also pioneering with the community-initiated "Overseas Chinese Trade Fair." He believed that the successful hosting of the "Overseas Chinese Trade Fair" would boost Shenzhen’s future development and lead the participation of Chinese and overseas Chinese in the "Belt and Road" initiative.
