2016年4月30日，英中经贸交流促进会陈会长带领副会长，理事成员，副秘书长等人热情会见了以湖南致公麓商会会长、湖南大学网球俱乐部会长、湖南青商会副会长、湖南昭泰医疗集团董事长汤朝阳先生为团长的访英企业家代表团一行。On April 30, 2016, Chairman Chen of the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association warmly met with a visiting delegation of British entrepreneurs led by Mr. Tang Zhaoyang, President of the Hunan Zhigong Lushang Association, President of the Tennis Club at Hunan University, Vice President of the Hunan Youth Business Association, and Chairman of Hunan Zhaotai Medical Group.

首先，陈志明会长详细介绍英中经贸交流促进会进几年的发展近况，也重点介绍英国的经济发展趋势及英国投资商机。汤会长介绍湖南的投资环境，企业家们也对未来英湘合作进行了深入交流。汤朝阳会长希望以此行访英为契机，增进彼此了解，推动英国与湖南各界在医药，金融，科技等领域的务实合作。陈志明会长也表示，充分发挥英中经贸交流促进会的桥梁纽带作用，助推合作关系不断向前发展。
Firstly, Chairman Chen Zhiming gave a detailed introduction to the recent developments of the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association, and he particularly highlighted the economic development trends and investment opportunities in the UK. Chairman Tang introduced the investment environment in Hunan, and the entrepreneurs also engaged in in-depth discussions about future cooperation between Hunan and the UK. Chairman Tang Zhaoyang expressed hopes that this visit to the UK would enhance mutual understanding and promote practical cooperation between the UK and Hunan in fields such as pharmaceuticals, finance, and technology. Chairman Chen Zhiming also stated that he would fully utilize the role of the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association as a bridge and link to continuously advance cooperative relationships.

会后，汤朝阳会长代表团还向经促会赠予著名湘绣和书法家对联。会长陈志明、副会长范少文、副会长尹博，理事马宇柯，副秘书长刘帅等促进会成员邀请湖南访英企业家代表团共进晚餐，并于会餐时表示希望商务代表成员在英找到投资项目和发展机遇。
After the meeting, Chairman Tang Zhaoyang's delegation presented the association with famous Hunan embroidery and a pair of calligraphy couplets. Chairman Chen Zhiming, Vice Chairmen Fan Shaowen and Yin Bo, Director Ma Yuke, and Deputy Secretary-General Liu Shuai, along with other members of the association, invited the visiting Hunan entrepreneurs to dinner. During the meal, they expressed hopes that the business delegates would find investment projects and development opportunities in the UK.
