英中经贸交流促进会拜访南南合作促进会

UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association visits South-South Cooperation Promotion Association.

On July 31, 2023, at 10:00 AM, Chairman Chen Zhiming, Vice Chairman Zhou Xingjian, Director Hu Jingxian, and Deputy Secretary-General Zhou Keyin of the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association visited the South-South Cooperation Promotion Association. They shared their views with Chairman Xu Tongkai, Director Shao, and Director Lü, engaging in profound exchanges.

2023年7月31日上午10时英中经贸交流促进会陈志明会长、周兴建副会长、胡婧嫻理事、周柯吟副秘书长一行拜访了南南合作促进会。并且与须同凯会长，邵主任和吕主任分享了各自的看法，进行了深刻的交流。 

Firstly, Chairman Xu Tongkai of the South-South Cooperation Promotion Association warmly welcomed Chairman Chen Zhiming and his delegation and introduced the association. The South-South Cooperation Promotion Association was established on August 8, 2014, with the support of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its individual members mainly include senior diplomats who have worked for a long time in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chinese embassies and consulates abroad. Its corporate members are primarily central and state-owned enterprises and Chinese companies with overseas business. The purpose of the association is to provide a platform for resource cooperation and information sharing among Chinese enterprises, and to support Chinese businesses in expanding abroad. Currently, the association has over 100 corporate members involved in industries such as new energy, photovoltaics and energy storage, infrastructure construction, and foreign trade.

Chairman Chen Zhiming stated that in the current environment of high inflation following the pandemic, various industries in China have been impacted differently. This represents a new challenge and turning point for Chinese companies, necessitating cooperation and complementarity among them, as well as adaptation to new industry rules to explore more overseas markets. Since 2021, the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association, with its professional team and deep resources, has assisted Chinese companies in obtaining projects in photovoltaics, energy storage, hydropower, and infrastructure in countries such as the Philippines, Colombia, and Iraq. Vice Chairman Zhou stated that he would provide legal and tax services for these projects. Chairman Chen Zhiming hopes to cooperate with the South-South Cooperation Promotion Association to share information and help Chinese enterprises in new energy, photovoltaics and energy storage, infrastructure construction, and bulk commodity trading to establish and grow in Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Western and Eastern Asia, contributing to the economic development of China.

首先南南合作促进会须会长对陈志明会长一行表示了欢迎并介绍了南南促进会。南南合作促进会于2014年8月8日在中国外交部的支持下成立。个人会员主要由曾长期在外交部和中国驻外使领馆工作的高级外交官担任。单位会员主要由央、国企和对海外有发展业务的中国企业组成。宗旨是为中国的企业间提供资源合作，信息共享，为中国企业进一步走出国门提供合作交流平台。目前已经有涵盖新能源、光伏及储能、基础设施建设及外贸等行业的100多家的企业会员。

陈志明会长表示目前在疫情过后高通胀的大环境下，中国的各种行业都受到了不同的影响。对于中国企业也是一种新的考验和转机，需要中国企业间的合作互补，也需要企业适应新的行业规则，去开拓更多的海外市场。英中经贸交流促进会从2021年开始凭借专业的团队，深厚的资源先后在菲律宾，哥伦比亚，伊拉克等国家协助中国企业取得光伏、蓄能、水电和基础设施等项目。周副会长表示将为项目提供法律税务等服务。
陈志明会长希望与南南促进会共同合作，信息共享，促使中国的新能源、光伏蓄能、基础设施建设以及大宗商品交易等中资企业早日在欧洲、中东、南美洲及东西亚国家落地生根，发展壮大。为中国的经济发展添砖加瓦，贡献自己的一份力量。
