英中经贸交流促进会江苏南京回国商务考察

3月27日上午，江苏省侨办王华主任在南京接见了英中经贸交流促进会陈志明会长一行，并进行了亲切友好的会谈。省海协办的有关领导也参加了会谈。陈志明会长对王华主任的会见表示感谢，并详细介绍了英中经贸交流促进会的成立背景、工作安排及英国华商的发展现状。陈会长表示英中经贸交流促进会一直致力于推进英中双方的经贸交流与合作，希望可以为中国企业“走出去”多做实事、贡献力量。
On the morning of March 27, Director Wang Hua of the Jiangsu Overseas Chinese Affairs Office warmly received Chairman Chen Zhiming and his delegation from the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association in Nanjing for a cordial and friendly discussion. Senior leaders from the provincial Overseas Chinese Federation also participated in the meeting. Chairman Chen expressed his gratitude for the reception by Director Wang Hua and provided a detailed introduction of the background, work arrangements, and the current development of Chinese merchants in the UK under the auspices of the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association. Chairman Chen stated that the association is committed to promoting economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the UK and China and hopes to contribute more to the "going out" strategy of Chinese enterprises.
会谈中，王华主任对陈志明会长一行的到访表示欢迎，并对陈志明会长为首的一行海外侨界青年致力于推进中英经贸交流合作给予了高度评价。他介绍了省侨办、省海协会的工作职能，表示省侨办、省海协会是海外华侨华人的“娘家”，是专门服务海外华侨华人的省政府职务部门。并且还着重介绍了将于今年4月下旬举办的“中国·南京科技创业创新与重大项目洽谈会”高淳区专场活动，和将于今年6月下旬在江苏省连云港举办的2015“江苏国际生物医药创新创业交流合作洽谈会暨海外华侨华人高层次人才江苏行”活动的情况。最后，王华主任热情邀请英中经贸交流促进会参加“海外华侨华人高层次人才江苏行”活动，希望协助江苏省引进优秀人才、高新科技，共同为推进英国与江苏经贸交流和友好关系做出更大的贡献。
During the talks, Director Wang Hua welcomed the visit of Chairman Chen and his delegation and highly commended their efforts as young overseas Chinese leaders dedicated to advancing Sino-British economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. He introduced the functions of the provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Overseas Chinese Federation, describing them as the "parental home" for overseas Chinese and a provincial governmental department specifically serving overseas Chinese. He also highlighted the upcoming "China·Nanjing Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Major Projects Conference" in Gaochun District in late April and the "2015 Jiangsu International Biomedical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference and Overseas Chinese High-level Talent Jiangsu Tour" to be held in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, in late June. Director Wang warmly invited the UK-China Economic and Trade Exchange Promotion Association to participate in the "Overseas Chinese High-level Talent Jiangsu Tour," hoping to assist Jiangsu Province in attracting outstanding talents and high-tech innovations to further promote economic and trade exchanges and friendly relations between the UK and Jiangsu.
随后，陈会长一行又拜访了江苏省商务厅吴辉副处长，双方就节能环保产业展开了讨论，还非常荣幸地受江苏省商务厅的委托，推荐知名的英国专家参加南京举办的 “中国环保研讨会”。
Following the meeting, Chairman Chen and his delegation also visited Deputy Director Wu Hui of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce. The parties discussed the energy conservation and environmental protection industries and were honored to be entrusted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce to recommend renowned British experts to participate in the "China Environmental Protection Seminar" in Nanjing.
3月27日下午江苏省工商联副主席陆群、处长周强军亲切接见了陈会长一行。陆副主席强调江苏省近年来十分注重科技创新与教育发展。也希望今后能与促进会有针对性的季度性的交流。
In the afternoon of March 27, Vice Chairman Lu Qun and Director Zhou Qiangjun of the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce warmly received Chairman Chen and his delegation. Vice Chairman Lu emphasized that Jiangsu Province has recently placed great emphasis on scientific innovation and educational development. He also expressed hope for targeted quarterly exchanges with the association in the future.
