"British Interior Ministry Hosts Inaugural East-WestTalks in London for Economic Development and Cultural Exchange"

On the 12th of September 2014 British Interior Ministry held inaugural East-Westtalks with Leaders in London, to promote East-West economic development; strengthening, cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two sides. The meeting was hosted by Interior Minister Theresa May, business leaders from Germany, India, China and Britain as well as the high commissioners participated in discussions, and sought common interests in the development between East and West.


During the discussion Theresa May congratulated the establishment of the inaugural East-West meeting, Alok affirmed its efforts to promote economic and trade exchanges between east and west, She believes meetings such as this will narrow the gap between East and West thus improving future cooperation between East and West. Theresa May also suggested that Britain will make changes to its immigration policy in the near future, this will attract more migrations in England.
UK China Economic & Trade Promotion Association’s President Chen Zhiming attended this meeting and expressed that he would strive to promote the development of economics between Britain and China so that they complement each other’s advantages thereby stimulating economic development, exchange of culture and education, this will in turn provide mutual benefits.
